COVID-19 Return to work

Dear All,

The Nanoscience Centre & Electrical Engineering buildings will be opening from Tuesday 23 June. Please note, that initially only a small number of people will be able to gain access. We are aiming to increase the number of people with access as quickly as possible but given the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, ensuring a safe working environment for all must be a priority.

Please find attached a current Electrical Engineering & Nanoscience Centre Guide to Safe Working which you should read through carefully. This details the new practices in place that will provide you with a safe working environment and describes what you must do if you wish to return to laboratory work in the Nanoscience Centre.
These include:-

New signage within the Centre.
A new booking system which reflects the reduced capacity allowed.
You must get permission to access the building before you do anything ie email Sue Murkett.
NB: PhD students need to get further permissions which might take longer.
